The nursery employs a chef that prepares home made meals using freshly purchased products.  The nursery also has a vegetable garden which the children enjoy cultivating and harvesting.

The cook has completed the basic food hygiene course and maintains exceptional standards of hygiene in the kitchen.  The kitchen is inspected by enviornmental health annually to ensure the standards described are maintained.

All meals cater for individual tastes including vegetarians, the chef is also experienced at weaning.

Meals are served in the dinning room in a social environment encouraging independence, making choices and appropriate behaviour developmentally suitable for the child's age.  Breakfast is served at 9.00 am with the bar open for over 2's from 9.00 am - 10 am.  Lunch is served 11.20 am - 12.30 pm and afternoon tea is from 3.00 pm with the bar open from 3.00 pm till 3.45 pm.  A hot super is available from 5.15 pm upon request at a charge of £1.50.
